Performance
We need poetics to cope with and respond to the present horrors. Exorcitium is a participatory performative space moving across the etymologies of exorcism and exercise to address the destructive structures we are in.
The piece offers practices in relation to the question: How can we be together differently as an act of resistance? Within such an immersive collaborative ritual, new futures arise.
You are invited to sign up and participate. You will move physically in the space, use your voice and experiment with sound and recordings. Please bring your phone. The performance workshop is available for 20-30 participants. The poetic and sonic experiments will take place in the centre of the main hall. You can expect a 15-minute introduction, approximately 45 minutes of experiments both on and off stage and 15 minutes of workshop feedback.

Performance
Wir brauchen die Poesie, um mit den derzeitigen Gräueln klarzukommen und darauf zu reagieren. Exorcitium ist ein partizipativer performativer Raum, der sich zwischen der Herkunft der Wörter „Exorzismus“ und „Übung“ bewegt, um die destruktiven Strukturen anzusprechen, in denen wir uns befinden.
Die Arbeit bietet Praktiken an in Bezug auf die Frage: Wie können wir als Akt des Widerstands auf andere Weise zusammen sein? Innerhalb eines solchen immersiven kollaborativen Rituals entstehen neue Zukunftsvisionen.
Ihr seid herzlich eingeladen, euch anzumelden und teilzunehmen. Ihr werdet euch physisch durch den Raum bewegen, eure Stimme einsetzen und mit Klängen und Tonaufnahmen experimentieren. Bringt bitte eure Handys mit. Der Performance-Workshop ist für 20 bis 30 Personen ausgelegt. Die poetischen und klanglichen Experimente finden im Zentrum der Haupthalle der Nationalgalerie statt. Die Einführung umfasst etwa 15 Minuten, die Experimente auf und neben der Bühne 45 Minuten und abschließend gibt es ein 15-minütiges Feedback zum Workshop.
