What is time? is a series of questions about one of the most common nouns used in the English language. Time is something we all know and a word we use constantly. Even though the phenomenon has a name, it is difficult to define. The work deals with the variety of meanings, projections and speculations related to time by asking questions about it ad absurdum. The interrogation itself becomes a paraphrase of this complex concept.

What is time? besteht aus einer Reihe von Fragen zu einem der meistgenutzten Begriffe unserer Sprache. Zeit ist etwas, das wir alle kennen, und ein Wort, welches wir ständig verwenden. Doch auch wenn das Phänomen einen Namen hat, lässt es sich nur schwer definieren. Die Arbeit befasst sich mit der Vielfalt von Bedeutungen, Projektionen und Spekulationen bezüglich Zeit. Die Fragestellung selbst wird zu einer Paraphrase dieses komplexen Konzepts.
