This video by Linn Johanna Johannsen looks at the deep connection between humans and nature. A naked body silently dwells in the forest, melting into its surroundings. An immersive experience is created with forest sounds all around, allowing us to feel the reciprocal relationship and portraying humanity as part of a greater ecological whole.

This piece is an invitation to cultivate a more conscious and sustainable relationship to the world around us – a call to attentiveness, responsibility, and symbiotic coexistence.

This work was created as part of artistic research at Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel.

Die Videoarbeit von Linn Johanna Johannsen thematisiert die tiefe Verbundenheit von Mensch und Natur. Ein nackter Körper verweilt still im Wald und verschmilzt mit seiner Umgebung. Untermalt von den Klängen des Waldes entsteht ein immersives Erlebnis, das die wechselseitige Beziehung spürbar macht und den Menschen als Teil eines größeren ökologischen Ganzen präsentiert.

Die Arbeit lädt dazu ein, das Verhältnis zur Mitwelt bewusster und nachhaltiger zu gestalten – ein Aufruf zu Achtsamkeit, Verantwortung und symbiotischer Koexistenz.

Dieser Beitrag entstand im Rahmen der künstlerischen Forschung an der Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel.
