This piece is about motionlessness in our fast-moving world. Despite globalisation, acceleration, and constant change, there are still images that stand apart: a tree that never leaves its place; workers sitting still for a moment; the ocean, which is simply there.

Immobility, here, is not emptiness, but rather an invitation to be understood and consciously take in moments. Roxana Olympia Seehof has captured a few in case we missed them.

Die Videoarbeit thematisiert den Stillstand in unserer schnelllebigen Welt. Trotz Globalisierung, Beschleunigung und ständigem Wandel gibt es nämlich Bilder, die sich entziehen: Ein Baum, der nie wegläuft. Arbeiter*innen, die kurz sitzen bleiben. Das Meer, das einfach nur da ist.

Stillstand soll hier nicht als Leere gesehen, sondern als Einladung verstanden werden, Momente bewusst wahrzunehmen. Roxana Olympia Seehof hat solche eingefangen, falls wir sie übersehen haben.
