the struggle innate
this is all we are:

ThinkingHand is a creative collective that works at the intersection of spacing, timing and research. With a background in spatial design, experience-based arts and the philosophy of aesthetics, they make works and installations that evoke a playful and stimulating curiosity towards the senses and the profoundness of everyday life. For the Festival they will collaborate with the performance artist Nana-Francisca Schottländer to research the poetry of the struggling body and the de-civilization of human nature. Nana-Francisca Schottländer works at the intersection between dance, performance, installation and conceptual art, and will inhabit the commonplace Creature roaming the railway station of Hamburger Bahnhof during the Festival.

ThinkingHand ist ein kreatives Kollektiv, das sich zwischen Raum, Zeit und Forschung bewegt, bestehend aus Rhoda Ting, Mikkel Dahlin Bojesen und Rune Bosse. Aus den Bereichen Raumgestaltung, erfahrungsbezogene Kunst und Philosophie der Ästhetik kommend, versuchen sie mit ihren Arbeiten und Installationen, eine spielerische und anregende Neugierde gegenüber den eigenen Sinneseindrücken hervorzurufen, wobei sie Alltagserfahrungen ins Zentrum ihrer Untersuchungen stellen. Für das Festival arbeiten sie erstmals mit der Performancekünstlerin Nana-Francisca Schottländer zusammen. Die Performance untersucht die Poesie des kämpfenden Körpers und die Nicht-Zivilisierung der menschlichen Natur unter Verwendung von Membranen, Spannungen, Streckungen, Fleisch, Werden und Multitude. Nana-Francisca Schottländer arbeitet mit aufstrebenden Hybriden am Schnittpunkt von Tanz, Performance, Installations- und Konzeptkunst und wird während des Festivals als alltägliche Kreatur den Hamburger Bahnhof durchstreifen.
