Performance
Jumana Ridha’s surreal performance is a reenactment of the new reality. She holds an ice cream in one hand and taps her mobile phone with the other. Staring at the phone, absorbed in communication, she seems to forget about the ice cream. It melts slowly in the cone, onto her hand, dropping to the ground, on her jeans, on her shoes, until the last drop falls.

Jumana Ridhas surreale Performance ist ein Reenactment der neuen Wirklichkeit. Sie hält ein Eis in einer Hand und tippt auf ihrem Handy in der anderen Hand. Während sie aufs Handy schaut und kommuniziert, scheint sie das Eis vergessen zu haben. Das Schokoladeneis schmilzt langsam in der Waffel in ihrer Hand dahin, tropft auf den Boden, auf ihre Jeans, auf ihre Schuhe, bis zum letzten Tropfen.
